A Living Wood

Stoneheap Wood is a young mixed plantation woodland on the bank of the Breich near Stoneyburn in West Lothian.

It has public access paths running through the wood, some muddy and uneven. There is a layby opposite the wood for parking on the B7015, next to Longridge Moss.

Its owners, Amy and Micah, are working towards improving its amenity and biodiversity value through the use of sustainable woodland management including coppicing techniques.

We are running a Coppicing course at the end of November for TCV Scotland. Please follow this link to book your place:-
